Also note that if you email the people at earsc.com, they'll sell you a free sample kit of their HDD and fan isolators.

I did and they wouldn't send me anything. :cry: They just gave me a contact number for their UK distributors.

Do these isolators work fin with the nexus 120mm?

Yes, if you cut the corners. ISTR there's a sticky in the Fans forum on cutting Nexus corners, it's pretty easy.

Apparently, it helps to immerse the isolators in hot water to soften them up before fitting.

Yes, absolutely. Although that's pretty hard to do when you want to remove them! :lol:

It's the heat, not the water that makes them more flexible. So use a hairdryer to heat them before removing. (Or just pull with more force.)
