I have completed my first build and the internal cabling is a mess!!!!
Can anyone please recommend me some sites where I can learn more about how to tidy up the unused power cables and how to run the assorted connectors inside the case??
Thanks.

If you search around in these forums, you will find a ton of threads on this topic...
(including mine... http://forums.silentpcreview.com/viewtopic.php?t=29740 )
http://forums.anandtech.com/ and http://forumz.tomshardware.com/ are also good places to look. (can I say that here?? haha)
The basic idea is to get the cables out of the way - this improves both the looks and the airflow within the case. Now this can be accomplished in many ways. Youll want to hide as many unused cables and extra length of cables in a spare HD or optical bay, (or basically any other free space within your computer) You can often run cables such as the four-pin power connector under the MB to hide it away.
One of the best ways to get cables under control is to tie them up somehow. A lot of people use plastic cable ties which can be found in any hardware store, some people buy sleeving kits, others just use twistie ties. Me, I use 3M vetwrap (check the above thread) Just get those cables under control, and then tuck them somewhere thats out of the way. Use your imagination, and one day your case can look like this...
