AMD64 3000+/3200+ (upgrading to 3800+ at the end of the year, using the same HS below)
Silversteon NT06 (no fan, using seasonic 12CM fan to suck air out)
Asus A8n-Vm CSM
2x1GB (value rams)
Pioneer DVD-rw
SS 250GB (for quiet)
veVGA 7600GT or 7600GS(passive cooled)
Zalman ZM80D-HP for 7600GT
Sapphire Theatrix 550 Pro PCI-E
Audigy 2 (optional, if the onboard sound is not good enough)
Logitech MX3100
Viewsonic 2025wm 20" WS

i'm aiming for upgradability, quiet system and can play current games

Any suggestions?

We have used that combination to test a very hot running Pentium D 840 with very good results (CPU temp was a little over 50C at full load). However, we used our own ST60F power supply, which has a PSU fan that runs faster than the Seasonic you are planning to use. But I think you will be just fine running at setup with an AMD CPU.
