motherboard list based on power consumption
Is there a list that ranks motherboards based on their power consumption (keeping the processor constant)?
It would be interesting to see which socket AM2 consume most or least power.
I don't see any data that already does this. Is the difference in power consumed by motherboards so minimal that it isn't worth the time to compile such a list?

I remember I once saw some kind of comparison like that - can't remember where tho. Examined chipsets were for C2D's. There were differences, yes, but not dramatic and they wouldn't really affect the PSU enough/not enough thing.
Taking into consideration the heat generated by mobos - especially NB and SB chips - I'd guestimate a mobo could be drawing app. 20W itself, maybe a little less. Hard to say. Differences for mobos with certain chipsets would be minimal as it is the chipset itself that consumes the bulk of power consumed by the mobo itself.

That's power consumption for some KINO-9452-R11 mobo. Seems like the total power consumed by this mobo is app. 45W - correct me if I'm wrong. Or is this for the CPU + mobo combo?
