mATX G33/P35 with onboard DVI?

Post by zoob » Tue Jul 31, 2007 1:05 pm

Are there any G33 based boards with onboard DVI?

The boards I've been able to find have onboard VGA:

Asus P5K-VM
Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R

I'm looking for one that supports:
Onboard DVI
Mild overclocking
Analog Devices onboard audio

Short answer seems to be no.

The only mATX board I've seen with DVI and G33 is the Intel board.
Akiba spotting

Otherwise there is the G33 Shuttle which has HDMI.

Gigabyte GA-G33M-S2H

However I can't find it on the Gigabyte webpage. Maybe it's not available yet

not the DS2R, there's no HDMI on the DS2R. The board I saw on Toms Hardware is the S2H. it has a DVI and a HDMI

My mistake. Misread the specs. I don't think the S2H is available yet.

Does this chipset support dual-link DVI, does anyone know? I'd like to know if it's capable of powering a 2560*1600 resolution. So far the only motherboard I know of that does this is Asus' M2A-VM...
