Post by hexen » Fri Oct 26, 2007 11:45 am

what would be the ideal replacement of motherboard and cpu but keeping with the standards (antecP150/neoHE430/Ninja) of the SPCR designed Model One?

I think the general reccomendation you can find in this forum is to go for a P35 motherboard, and looking at the layout and usefull features a lot of people go for Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3 or one of its subversions.

CPU... I just do not know.

i agree with the p35 chipset, i was looking at either the abit p35 board or asus p5k (because i read in a few posts that there are issues with fitting the ninja into a giga board)

can anyone confirm if a ninja will fit into a giga p35 ds3 board without surgery?

and do the boards mentioned above all support DDR2 ? (i read somewhere there are issues with this but cant recall what mobo manufacturer the article was about)
