PSU recommendation for high-end gaming system

Any advice for the PSU of the following system:

I've chosen the Nexus Value 430W for it was suitable for pretty low noise system. Gaming will be the main focus and most likely drawing most of the PSU and a quick check pointed that i7 920 and HD5870 together only can draw more than 400W temporally. Added the rest of the parts, will the chosen PSU be enough or what should I choose for a adequate and silent PSU?

Methinks you underestimate the heat the CPU and GPU will generate together. That case also doesn't have the greatest airflow. In any case, I'd go for a higher rated PSU. Check recommended models.

Just as a side note, don't waste your money on an X-Fi. They're overpriced, poorly made, and have some of the most unstable drivers I've ever had the displeasure of using.

Look into an Asus Xonar instead.

I second the Asus Xonar advice from the member above.

I would go for, at least, 650W PSU.
Not to mention, that the PSU will be a LOT quieter if not under full load and will also last and perform longer.

If the 2 others haven't convinced you already, my X-FI Platinum is the biggest mistake I've made in electronics purchases ever! Horrendous driver support and crappy build quality. Read up on the pops and crackles many complain about. More recently, I get random channel remaps while playing back music in Win 7 HP x64 OEM, and the one application that makes it competative with modern on-board solutions, THX optimizer (to handle bass redirection/crossover- essential for me since I output to an AV Receiver), isn't 100% functional in Win7, and does not come included in the downloadable drivers, so you have to install from CD with all the bloat, and then patch. It's a complete nightmare!

If you're not affraid to put effort to your case by dampening it, Antec Three Hundred + Bitumen matt is quite killer combo. Bitumen is not expensive. Antec Three Hundred is decent case even without padding but you need to change top fan. You get good Sharkoon 900 rpm 140mm fans from coolputer.fi

It runs between 50 and 60€'s so its a good case. Already suggested CoolerMaster Scout / Stormsniper's might be also good. I am not personally big fan of side windows.
