Save your money and toss the 11 yr old GTX 280. 236W TDP and performance similar to the integrated graphics in the current gen CPU chips.

I agree with steve, i dont think its worth to invest on such an old card.

If you want to invest little, try to check for used cards, a GTX750ti goes on ebay around $50.

Another vote for tossing it aside... if it was an AMD 280(x), then barely, but a GTX280....
