I've got a Gigabyte GA-K8V Ultra-939, currently using stock cooler with undervolted fan. I'm thinking of replacing this with a Ninja, but doing so requires removing the heatsink retention bracket. It looks like it is held on by plastic rivets - there is no obvious way of removing it without cutting it.
Does anyone know how best to do this? I asked Gigabyte, and they said "get a dealer to do it", which wasn't very helpful.
You can get a picture of the board here:

although it isn't very high resolution, and doesn't show the back, which is what really matters.
