DFI RS482 memory? OK with P150?

Post by culs » Sat Mar 11, 2006 7:57 pm

Am narrowing down some specs for a new system around the P150 and want to use integrated graphics, so I like what I have read about the DFI RS482 snce I want to connect via DVI with an option to use VGA.

DFI's website suggests overclocking memory types, will more regular dual channel DDR 400 memory work OK?

Can any users say the P150 with a recent S0511xxxxxxx will boot and run OK?

I read somewhere that somebody had their no name DDR400 memory running at DDR500. I have this memory running at DDR500, 2.5-3-3-8 1T timings, with no voltage increase. Rock solid. Based on that, any decent value RAM should be okay.
