Electrical efficiency of CPU processors

I was wondering if anyone knows or can point me to any references relating to the calculation of a CPU's electrical efficiency. I am hoping to use this info on my energy engineering paper relating to the thermal losses of modern CPUs. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

By electrical efficiency you must mean calculating power/watt, becuase all the energy that a cpu takes is turned into heat.

As for where that can be found, i beleive that there are some threads that talk about calculations/watt somewhere here...
