microatx conroe mobo?

Post by 71monaro » Mon Jun 26, 2006 6:13 pm

Has anyone heard of any manufacturers releasing a Micro-Atx mobo that is designed to take Core 2 (conroe) cpu yet? Planning to build a HTPC based on conroe, and want to keep size down if possible.

I’ve seen a few listed over the last weeks, try looking at hardware news/reviews sites for details. Also, try looking at manufacturer’s websites as some may already be listed as they support Pentium 4’s also. Their availability may well dependent on the chipset used as the 965 chipsets are probably not available yet!

And here for a comprehensive list of good mATX motherboards - it lists seven Conroe-supporting boards.
