P5B-DX | HR-05 Plus Ninja Does It Fit?
Question above. Does it fit? Anyone have this combo? I really want to know if this combo works with my P5B-DX before I go out and buy an HR-05.
I'm between P5N-E SLI and the P5B-E Premium Vista. Gonna be a tuff choice.. although the premium is expensive it will probably last longer (and has 2xlan) but the P5N has SLI which i might use seeing i'll be gettin a cheap dx10 card. The bigger problem would be oc capabilities. I'm gettin some PROmos chips for 185€ and a E4300 when they come down so i'm guessing the P5N will do the trick nicely.
Which brings me down to the question, as i have a ninja and i'm thinking of gettin an HR-5, has anyone had any problems fittin both in any of these boards?
Sorry to hog your post but seeing they're related it might shed some light on this matter.

I've decided after a lot of thinking, I don't need the cooler anymore and the idea in the end isn't worth it. But incase in the future I change my mind I still want to know if it fits lol.aristide1 wrote:You are lucky to find that board. In the US there are no Plus models.Asus P5B-E Plus
Do you overclock? Is your NB still hot Hot HOT?
What I've done now, is decided to underclock (sort of). I left my Clock at 2.8Ghz with 1.2675V (Orthos Stable 24HR). Just a while ago I had 3.2Ghz at 1.4725V which is a hell lot more hotter. And the NB was just as hot since I had to bump it up to 1.55V to keep it stable. Now that I've gone back to 2.8. Everything else is auto even the NB voltage and it's a lot cooler now in my case overall.
Although I'm still buying the NB cooler right now, for my next system, on a Asus N4L-VM DH motherboard =) To cool off a Core Duo T2300 hopefully that works, but I've already asked this one in another thread.
