I'm looking at building a mini-ITX system where space is at a premium.
Does anyone have photographs, or dimensions (particularly height) of the stock E1200 HSF?
Failing that, could you point me in the right direction for the smallest possible aftermarket HSF unit for this CPU? Not sure about power consumption figures but I'd imagine very, very low.
Cheers.
E1200 stock heatsink / fan information?

Hello weboweb,
After a quick search on google images, i stumbled upon this thread
http://forum.twcarpc.com/showthread.php?t=459
where you can get all the info you need i think (well pictures at least unless you can speak chinese)
At first glance, the HSF looks like the standard 775 HSF included with low-to middle-end current intel CPUs. I guess you can find the dimensions without much trouble with a search of your own.
Have fun !

Thanks Blacktales - I thought it was that unit but my Google Foo isn't quite as good as yours so I wasn't 100% certain.
Unfortunately that HSF won't quite cram into the case I have in mind, any comments on whether I could get away cooling the E1200 with a northbridge cooler such as:

Being an extremely low end processor I assume it consumes very little power especially if undervolted...
