[ASUS P43]Enabling PECI function?

My CPU Temperature is higher than CORE temeprature, and this can't be real for pure physical facts.
I have read that I need to enable the PECI function in my bios and it will turn the temperature reading for the better.
Unfortunately I can't find this option in my P5QL PRO.
How come the temp. readings are wrong and there isn't any PECI option?
