hi there...

I am looking for this motherboard ASRock P4VM800Pro-DDR2 which I can't seem to find anywhere.
Or a motherboard which supports:
DDR2 RAM
Socket 478 CPU
AGP video card slot.

If there aren't any others out there then not to worry, I guess I will have to change my CPU or Video card, bit annoying though.
Any help appreciated.

It is probably not possible to replace your motherboard by the exact same model if it is that old. Your best bet is to find some other board that fits the system. You might try searching in Goolge Shopping with your requirements, e.g., "motherboard 478 ddr2".

Hello Roger,

If it is the capacitors that have failed on the motherboard, you can probably replace them and get it running again. Do they have brownish goop oozing out of them?

Geeks has 478 boards here:

Your request for DDR2 is the challenge. IMO - replace the board and processor. Planned obsolescence is a wonderful thing
