Is it a UDIMM 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16 memory module?

In the above manual, under "1-2 Product Specifications", it says "Support for non-ECC UDIMM 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16 memory modules".
http://www.adata.com/us/feature/426
On the above product page, the "Description" and "Specifications" say nothing about "1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16". Should I assume it is 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16? If not, how can I find out whether it is 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16?

The motherboard memory support page on the manufacturer's website is the best source of what memory is compatible and the maximum sizes that you can put in an individual slot or slots. For this motherboard it is available from here. As you can see from this PDF it also includes technical details such as the ranks of DRAM devices on the memory module which is what the "1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16" is referring to.

Do you mean I should only use the ones listed in the PDF there? The PDF says "Memory modules listed as above is for reference only. Due to massive memory models in market, we can only verify some of them", so I think other models can also be used as long as they fit the description given by the user manual.

Yes, other memory modules of a similar spec should work perfectly OK.

The following modules are on the list in the PDF.
ADATA 8GB 2Rx8 AX3U1600W8G9-DB
ADATA 4GB 1Rx8 ADDU1600W4G11-B

How do I find out whether the following one is of a similar spec?
https://www.adata.com/us/feature/426
It says nothing about 2Rx8 and 1Rx8.

The memory you are referencing is DDR4 whereas the motherboard as I understand it is the Gigabyte GA-H110M-DS2(DDR3) which won't take DDR4 memory, only DDR3.

ADATA publish information about DRAM ranking in this pdf which is the Datasheet for their DDR3 memory. Alternatively you could contact ADATA and ask them to confirm this data for you.

GIGABYTE GA-H110M-DS2 uses DDR4 according to "1-2 Product Specifications" in the following manual: http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Ma ... dr3)_e.pdf

GA-H110M-DS2 uses DDR4.
GA-H110M-DS2 DDR3 uses DDR3.

Yes, I wasn't sure which version of the GA-H110M-DS2 you had. Incidentally, there is a page on the ADATA website which will show compatible memory if you enter your motherboard details where it says 'Search by System/Device'.

They cannot confirm. See their reply at http://cs.adata.com:81/CSSCustReply.asp ... 0119051450
They were replying to this question: How do I find out whether it is "1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16"?

The RAM probably is compatible even if it is not 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16.

Is there a DDR4 U-DIMM which is not 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx1?
May I simply assume that a DDR4 U-DIMM must be 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx1 unless the product specifications say otherwise?

There is. I have one x4 (my MB manual says nothing about 1Rx8 etc).

Do the product specifications say that the memory is "x4"? If not, what makes you think that it is "x4"?

"Compatibility issues that need you to confirm with motherboard manufacturers."

ADATA Customer Service Center said the above in reply to my following questions:

A memory module could be 1Rx8 or 2Rx8 or 1Rx16 or 2Rx16 or 4Rx16 or 4Rx8 or 1Rx4 or 2Rx4 or 4RX4 etc.
Can you confirm that the "ADATA Premier DDR4 2400 unbuffered U-DIMM memory” must be one of 1Rx8 and 2Rx8 and 1Rx16?
Can you confirm that it must not be one of 2Rx16 and 4Rx16 and 4Rx8 and 1Rx4 and 2Rx4 and 4RX4 etc?

A GIGABYTE motherboard only supports 1Rx8 and 2Rx8 and 1Rx16. It does not support any others.

Look at the picture of your RAM. The label says 16G X16. I believe this RAM is 1Rx16. Should work in your MB.
My 4GB RAM has 4GX4 on the label.
The product specifications say nothing about organization. Seems to me ADATA produces RAM with different organization, same product code. They have been telling you the organization is not important. They may be right.

I put my x4 RAM in ASUS H110M-R, it works. I think it would work in your MB, too.

Do you know the model number of its Super I/O chip?
Does it show a valid motherboard temperature?

Could you post a screenshot like the one below? It has CPU temperature but no motherboard temperature.
