I'd go with Mini-ITX if you want a small form factor PC. Really, don't sweat this idle power thing. There's only a few watts difference between most Hxxx boards. You can always go into the Device Manager and turn stuff off. I'd be more concerned with:

- does it have the features I want? (eg: I like intel LAN over Realtek; how are the fan controls, how good is the onboard audio)
- is it in my price range?
- how are the tech reviews? (eg: any noted oddities)
- is it a reliable mobo (look at the amazon and newegg reviews 3mo+ after launch)?

Thanks a ton for the feedback guys! I think I have an okay handle on the build. I'll post it in the appropriate forum.
