Got a hot deal to share, info about a vendor, gear to sell, or a question about where to buy?

ECS N9600GT-512MX-P for $94.99 at Newegg

I don't know why, but this morning, Newegg dropped the price of the ECS N9600GT-512MX-P (9600GT with the Arctic Cooling Accelero S1) from the $175 ballpark down to $94.99:

I was just going to post this. It's a great card for SPCRers with low-end gaming needs.

I'm worried about this. I ordered it, but didn't get an email confirmation. It didn't show up in Newegg's standard Order Status area under My Account. But, it did show up if I searched on the SO number from the Order Confirmation page I printed from their site (step 1 of 5). Now, though (about 4 hours after I ordered), that same search only gives me:

"Order Number Error

The sales order number you entered is invalid or doesn't exist."

So, I don't know what's happening and, since it's the weekend, there's no one there to talk to.

Has anyone else tried ordering this item today?

I haven't ordered it, but i almost did with that price.

having a second one would make me only a new motherboard away from SLI, but i also saw the card, and thought about how the PCB of my card is green, that's blue, is it a different version?

Well, my order has re-appeared on their system. Hopefully, all is well.

Maybe your expectations for processing your order is higher than their actual speed of fulfillment. It hasn't even been 12 hours... :D

I think it's a symptom of it being the weekend. Normally, when I order from Newegg, I get an immediate confirmation email and the order shows up instantly in their system. This time, no email and the order appeared, disappeared, and then re-appeared. I was mostly worried because of the whopping-great price reduction (46%): I didn't want to miss it if the order never made it into their system. But, then again, 12 whole hours! Where's that UPS truck? :D

I'd like to hear some of you guys' personal reviews of that 9600 when you get them. I've considering a 9600gt for my current computer project mainly since I don't play games on the computer and want a 'good' solid card that doesn't get too hot and can handle HD stuff.

I forget where... but I read something about the card making a particular noise. Yea, I know its silent. So let me know if the card is awesome so I can go buy it! Much cheaper than the 9600 I'm considering and I would probably end up throwing an accelero on it which would cost $200! This card seems perfect for what I'm after.
