TruePower 430 fans not spinninng

Post by Schlotkins » Sat Aug 21, 2004 11:06 am

Hi-

I was about to RMA my SS400 so I went to put my old TruePower 430 in my case. I hooked everything up and it booted no problem. However, the two fans in the PS aren't spinning at all. Is there anything stupid I should check before RMAing this one back to Antec?

Thanks,
Chris

If you ask me, I believe that either A. You live in a SUPER cold environment, and that the temp isn't high enough for the fans to kick in (highly unlikely), or B. Your fans are not running due to either 1. Fan motors not getting enough voltage or 2. The fan connectors came off.

I'd RMA it if I were you. Opening it usually voids any warranties.

It's not THAT cold in here... 68 maybe. In any case, I'm trying to find my original box. I guess Antec won't take it back under warranty without it. If I can't find it, then I'm going to have to crack it open and see what I can find.
