I have a fairly quiet PSU but it could be more silent for sure with a new fan..

it has to be a 120mm fan

any ideas for a fan ?

I don't think much ppl will reply to your post, since this subject has been talked to death. And you could've done a search on the forum, I'm sure you'll find interesting reads. But since I'm nice ;) I'm giong to recommend you the Nexus, it is considered to be the best 120mm fan around in this forum. It has the lowest noise when left at 12 volts. There's still the woooosh noise from the wind (can only be taken off by lowering the rpms...), but the motor noise is almost inexistant.

In fact you can go to the recommended fan section ---> here

It pretty sums up everything

Good luck!
