Hey guys,
Great forum here. I've successfully reduced my system's noise with a Nexus 92mm and SLK-900 and an Antec SLK-3000B. All that's left is the Power Supply. I've been looking at the SeaSonic range, of which the S12-430 seems to be top pick. However, I'm afraid that it won't be enough power because I'm using this PC as a server, and it currently has 4 hard drives in it, RAID 0+1, and I'm planning to add another pair in the near future.
Specs:
P4C 2.8Ghz
2x512mb PC3500
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb
2x120GB 7200rpm HD's
2x80GB 7200rpm HD's
2x200GB 7200rpm HD's (coming soon)
DVD-rom Drive
DVD+-RW drive
If anyone has any input on whether the 430 will be sufficient or I should spring for the 500, I'd be very grateful (if anyone has had experience with both of these, how big is the noise difference?)
Also, does anyone have any alternatives to Nexus fans for quiet 120mm fans? I hate orange (also no LEDs please). Thank you.

There is a sticky thread with "everything" you want to know about 120mm fans.Brunoski909 wrote:Also, does anyone have any alternatives to Nexus fans for quiet 120mm fans? I hate orange (also no LEDs please). Thank you.
Welcome to SPCR
I normally use orange for this, but...
