I read the extensive review of the P180 and saw in the pictures that the Seasonic S12 430 is mounted right side up (PSU fan on bottom), however, if mounted that way it seems that it would be extremely difficult to connect the 4 pin 12V ATX.
I have mine mounted upside down so the 4 pin 12V ATX cable is not stretched. Personally I don't think it matters, but the reason I'm asking is my HD temp at idle is in the mid to upper 40s C (45-50C). I would like some help on finding a way to get my HD temps down.
I have the vents around the PSU covered with aluminum tape. I this thinking about putting a 120 nexus @ 5v in the lower chamber. My Athlon 64 3000+ with the fanless Ninja idles in the lower 30s C, and under a load 40 C tops. My video card idles in the mid 30s C, and under low 40s C.
I appreciate anyones opinions, thoughts, suggestions, advice... etc.
Thanks!!!
Mounting S12 430 in a P180 w/ A8N Dlx (upside down or not?)

Did you tape the front vents on your psu or the rear case vents near the psu exhaust?
