What's the difference in Fortrons PSU's? PNF, THN etc
I don't expect anyone to read all the data of the PSU's, like on their website. I just wondered if anyone here has the knowledge
Is there any other difference than the obvoius below?
FSP300-60HLN: 3.3V-20A/5V-20A/12V1-8A/12V2-14A (80mm fan)
FSP300-60HLC: Same as above
FSP300-60THA: Same as above
FSP300-60THA-P: Same as above
FSP300-60THN: same as above except 120mm fan
FSP300-60THN-P: same as above
FSP300-60GLN: Same as above
FSP300-60GLC: same as above except 80mm fan
ATX-300PN: 3.3V-20A/5V-20A/12V1-16A/12V2-16A (120mm fan)
ATX300-PNF: Same as above
ATX300-PA: Same as above except 80mm fan
ATX300-PAF: Same as above
To me, the last 4 contestants seem like the better ones in a modern PC.
It would be nice to match one to my Nexus 4090 since they're really affordable. With a fan swap of course. I'm not sure all of them are available though.
anyone has an idea?
thanks

Thanks Tibors.
The postfix 'P' may stand for Passive PFC. I'm investigating.
PNF seems to be for the European market and the PN for the US market.
Different approving. Also different specs on the fan. The PN has a low noise 12cm fan, PNF only stated as '12cm fan'
PN/PNF probably has passive/active PFC respectively.
HLN/HLC: The HLN w 120mm fan seems to have better efficiency on the paper and operating conditions seem to be a bit higher. Probably made for different markets as well.
ATX-300 PN/PNF has active/passive PFC respectively. PNF probably made for US market.
ATX-300 PA/PAF has the same differences as above. Both w 80mm fans.
FSP300-THA/THA-P also has the same differences. THA w active PFC and made for the european market.
Strange.
FPS300-THN/THN-P has the same differences, but the other way around!!!
either there is some mishap in their website or they don't follow their previous fairly clear guidelines.
THN has passive PFC and appoved for US market. THN-P the opposite. not the europe is the opposite of US, but you get my point Strange as i think the THN is the one available here.
The FSP300-GLN/GLC seems to have no other dfferences than the fan.
Have i missed anything?

No. I knew Fortron had all their models listed on their website, so I did some searching.ATX-300 PN/PNF has active/passive PFC respectively. PNF probably made for US market.
ATX-300 PA/PAF has the same differences as above. Both w 80mm fans.
FSP300-THA/THA-P also has the same differences. THA w active PFC and made for the european market.
(I only listed either the 120mm or 80 fan models from the same series.)
FSP300-60HLN: Active PFC, input range 220-240VAC.
FSP300-60THA: Passive PFC (optional), input range 110-120/220-240VAC. So target is N.America.
FSP300-60THA-P: Passive PFC (optional), input range 220-240VAC.
ATX-300 PN: No PCF at all, input range 110-120/220-240VAC. So target is N.America.
ATX-300 PNF: Passive PFC, input range 220-240VAC.
ATX-300PNF @ Komplett.se / 50-99 på lager / kr 349:-
FSP300-60GLS: Micro-ATX, Active PFC (I'm in the process of swapping a fan in one of these).
The GLN and GLC have active PFC too.
FSP300-60GNF (Fortron Zen): Active PFC, but kr 1.295:- (at Komplett) is probably too expensive.
B.T.W. Any form of PFC is enough for the EU regulation. No PFC at all is required for N.America.
