I just bought a S12 380W (new ver), has Sata, PCIE and its sleeved Adda Fan
It starts to buzz when it is in windows. The buzz is not constant, it goes on and off all the time. A very high pitch buzz sound, almost the same when the hard drive seeks.
Is this normal? and is there a fix for this?
THank you

Are you sure it's the PSU? You can use the 'pencil trick' to stop the PSU fan and see if it is coming from there. If that's it, RMA it. If not stop all the other fans one at a time to see if you can stop the buzzing. Also try grabbing onto your PSU and other components while the computer is on and see if there are other parts causing vibration (resonance) problems.
There's no reason you should hear a noise in Windows and not when booting up, unless it were a noise coming from your monitor. In fact, you really shouldn't be hearing the S12 at all unless you are right next to it.
Hope that helps,
