Modular psu suggestions

Hello,

Searching for a modular psu to replace my brand new hiper 580W(far too noisy for my taste, the 80mm fan runs far too much and is quite noisy, the 120mm is also noisy( a little less)).
Some passively cooled psu would be ideal(i wish they did watercooled psu's) since noise is quite annoying.
EDIT: need at least 300W, although more isnt a problem.(I only have a pcie 6600GT+X2 4200+ overclocked+3 sata disks on it)

Suggestions?

Seasonic M12 should do the job.

BTW, are those Hipers really with "sieve" design? That won't do good for airflow inside PSU so 80mm fan has to turn about always for PSU to have effective cooling.

Water and power are just things which should be preferably kept separately IMO.

it's actively cooled, how noisy it is? say worst case compared to a papst 12cm at 7V(which is very slightly audible at 50cm)

I'm a fan of the Antec Neo HE 430W (comes with p150). There were some problems at first but they should be worked out by now. It runs very quiet.

Whoops, thanks for the recommendation on the m-12. I'll check that out.

Looks like newegg only has a 500W variety, with nothing lower. Maybe someone else does. Thanks,

Uh 500W is the lowest. There are only two models.

im in the same boat i was looking at either the seasonic m12 or the corsair hx series

i havent seen any reviews that compare them to each other.

There aren't reviews with both of them but here's reviews whose results are comparable...
Maybe except that voltage regulation of Corsairs weren't tested with full load on 12V with extreme crossload (3A/3.3V & 4A/5V ~30W vs 56A/12V) and with input temperature of 55C.

Personally I would keep Seasonic's traditional sleeved cables as better than Corsair's "flat" cables. (also that ripple of bigger Corsair doesn't look good)

the corsair is looking better to me at the moment, condisering i wont be using anywhere near 620watt.
the 60mm fan on the seasonic not turning off until restart has put me off
