antec 380 su psu and nforce4

Post by bendit » Thu Dec 21, 2006 6:50 pm

I couldn't get any power to this gigabyte nf4 sli board. just nothing. Could I have a problem similar to the neo HE antec? I understand that both PSUs may be sourced from seasonic. thanks for opinions. btw, I also tried to power the board up from an Antec SFX 300 and same issue.

thanks

Does it work with a non-Antec PSU?

I only had these two to test. I did the test outside the case. the cpu fan would spin for about a half second and then quit. Then it even stopped doing that. that's the only sign there was any power going to the board. I just rma the board and thinking of getting the asus sli premium but am afraid it may do the same thing.
