Power measured by battery backup=total power used by pc?
Sounds like a dumb questions but remember: there's no stupid questions - only stupid people. Okay so I have my wireless router, my dsl modem, and my monitor plugged into my battery backup. My batter backup relays total power usage back to my computer via usb. Ignoring my monitor's, the modem's, and wireless router's power usage, is the rest the actual power usage of my computer?

I have an APC 500 watt UPS too. I also forget the model name/number of mine, but what I can tell you is that it only seems to be accurate within about 10 watts or so. If that's close enough for you, then yes, it's essentially accurate. If you want to know the power in more precise terms you'll need to buy something like a Kill-A-Watt.
