Which PSU for P182? (cable length)

Hi,

Which PSU's have a 4pin long enough to go behind MB? My P5B-D has the connector at the very top of the board, was hoping to run cable behing the MB

(pondering building uber quiet rig, my Solo is very cramped)

It need not matter. You can easily solder an extension to the cable you have; 12V extension cables are cheap. Just buy one, cut off two connectors, solder and tape the cables, and presto, a PS with a cable that will reach any MB in any case, routed underneath the MB.

I think athena make an ATX 4pin extension cable which you can buy on newegg.

~20" is what you need if going under the mb tray over to the top edge of the mb. The wire must exit from that side of the PSU -- but you can flip the PSU either way.

Good question and thanks for the answer Mike - the "solder it yourself" responses may be fine for DIY electricians but some of us would just prefer to avoid the hassle...
