I was wondering if I can use a Fortron Zen 400 in a P180B (the P182 version, with the holes cut in the tray and space to pull the cables behind the mobo tray) with an ASUS P5B Deluxe mobo; currently I am using a Silverstone ST30NF to power my system, but under GPU load it produces an annoying (for me at least) buzz (it does that with a 7900GT and 8800GTS); the Zen 300 had very short cables and I'm afraid that they didn't fix this in the newer Zen 400

The 400w Zen has a relatively short ATX cable, much like the 300w version. You'll probably need an extension cable to use it in a p180 of any version.

Thanks for the info; unfortunatelly, where I live there are no "cable-extenders" to be found

Half an hour with a soldering iron, some stranded wire, and some electrical tape can extend any cable to any length. Anywhere in the world.
