I'm thinking of buying Cooler Master eXtreme Power 430w.

Any thoughts?

I think I knew someone who had this psu. It was some sort of CM 430W unit, so I'm guessing it's about the same as this one. It was quiet, but not really SPCR quiet. I would say it was above average, but certainly not the best. You can't get seasonic where you are?[/i]

Yes, Seasonics are available but much more expensive and since I'm a student I'm looking for a cheaper solution.

You can always do fanswap when you want quieter PSU. That Coolermaster should be decent cheap solution unless you can find even cheaper solution like I have surprisingly quiet 350W Chieftec. Cost 32 €'s with 3 year warranty and I had to check that fan was spinning. Fortron's budget models are also recomended for budget silencers.

Second the recommendation for Fortron.
