FSP Aurora ((FSP300-60PN(PF)B)
I can buy this for about £60 inc. delivery here in the UK. It is basically a FSP300-60PN(PF) with a blue LED fan and a fan speed control Pot on the back.
However I can't find any reviews of it. The specs state that it is under 20db under nominal load. Presumably this is with the pot turned right down.
I can get the FSP300-60PN(PF) in the Uk for about £35 but I could end up being very unhappy with the noise from it. However the fact that the Aurora has adjustable speed seems good.
Has anyone bought it from overclockingstore.co.uk? IF how is it? Anyone else got it and how is it noise wise and heat wise?
Please help as my modded 7v enermax I am worried will die maybe within the year its a hot summer here.
Cheers,
Ed

Stock models at www.dabs.com as Aopen branded units. 300w and 350w versions - however these are the "noisier" PFC versions i think.

BTW - was just browsing about and came across this report at Tom's. Seems the Aurora is made by FSP themselves: my guess is instead of a noise-killer thermal control circuit you get the manual control knob on the back. So really depends if you want the light & manual control, or the auto control?
Actually not to bad prices @ Dabs: but I would assume, like you, that any of these sourced in the UK will be PFC.
