M12D 850W = awful coil whine

Oh my... I just put together a new system - Asrock x58 Extreme, i720, 12gig Mushkin RAM, ATI 4550, Intel SSD 160 G2. Last night I was installing Vista and the coil whine was unbearable. It seemed to get better after I got video drivers loaded, but then it was back and exists is S3 sleep mode.

I'm guessing I'm SOL on this but I thought I'd ask if anyone has any ideas...?
