Best psu for under £50?

Hi. My sons pc went with a crack and hiss a couple of days ago, so im after a new psu...... Whats the best psu to go for, thats under £50? The pc is using under 300w max.

Not saying that it's the absolute best, but I picked up one of these for a less-demanding build and it's really pretty nice.

Just posting eBuyer links cos I happen to use them and like them, but I think those PSUs are fairly widely available.

Maybe you should instead put some money on a 5 year guarantee PSU like the Corsair VX450. If it'd break, you'd get a new one for free then. Should come cheaper in the long run?

There are Sparkle Power PSUs made by Fortron that are fairly cheap but the quality is top notch. I got a 400W for something close to 20 quid.
