UPS + PSU = Buzzing? Will this damage anything?

PSUs: The source of DC power for all components in the PC & often a big noise source.

UPS + PSU = Buzzing? Will this damage anything?

Ive been having a few long power outages recently. My WHS machine is hooked up to an APC BE-450 UPS with the Grid Junction add-in setup such that the WHS will shut itself off when UPS power hits 50%. When the WHS is on UPS power, the power supply (Antec Earthwatts 380) has a LOUD buzz. I've never heard this before with other ATX power supplies. It just doesn't sound right, but Im just wondering if it is damaging for the PSU to be running off the modified sine wave from the UPS? Or is this normal? Rather be safe than sorry...

My PSU seems to make more noise as well when running on UPS power (Corsair VX450 and APC back-ups 650).

Haven't bothered to care about it, there aren't that many power outages here anyway.
