did they assemble correct the psu in my p-182 ?

sorry if it`s a stupid question.
i`ve got today my new pc, assembled in p-182 case.
the psu is enermax 80+ eco 500 w.
all of my psu`s until today were with their fan to the opened grill on the back of the case.
this one`s fan is heading toward the sealed bottom of the case, with a slight room between them.
is it should be this way?
i mean, does`t the air going out from the psu should flow free out of the rear grill?

Assuming you've got this PSU, then yes, that's correct. PSUs used to usually have the fan on the rear, but these days they usually pull air into the PSU rather than blow it out, so the fan will be on the inside of the case.

In the P182, you can have the fan pointing either up or down, but as I recall, at least, pointing down was recommended (less dust).

So yes, they did it right. :)

yes this is the one i have.
and you are right, all of them that i had ,until now, blow air outside the psu.
as a meter of fact enermax gives us a "clue" by writing their brand name on the rear label in this direction.
thank you, i`m glad i don`t have to take my pc back to the store.

the psus today, yesterday, doesn't matter. there is no usual for anything. Even the atx original standard is challenged to death by backwards engineering and no brains.
in fact, you can doubt your stuff and get away with it.

any problems or is it working well enough ?

Then if you prefer, change to "in my experience". ;)
