I don't know much about these things, but isn't this a very, very good efficiency? If this PS can be brought into NA for a price a third lower than the Seasonic 400FL then I think it becomes a viable alternative. Only thing is the ripple isn't as low as I would like.

Huntkey has pulled their act together lately, their 1200W also seems like a good product.

As for the ripple here.. To me it seems low and it's way within spec, so it won't do any damage.

Understood, I just like to have ripple as low as possible as I might use as a dedicated hifi computer.

Low ripple is much less significant than is commonly thought .Almost nothing (fans and hard drives) use the power directly out of the PS. Any decent audio card will have filtering on the DC input. Audible noise is more likely to be introduced through grounding issues and EMI.

Where and when will this unit become available?

I'm itching to finally make my next build happen, and I am set to buy this psu if only it becomes available! The price can't possibly be worse than SS X400, so I'll take it, whatever it is.

HuntKey is still looking for distributors that are willing to carry this sort of product.
