I knew about the importance of a good and silent linear power supply for our electronics, but I was more skeptical about the impact it could have on a pc used as a music source.
I decided to try it and I stumbled upon the 100W Linear PSU from HDPLEX.
It can power 5 element simultaneously. I use it to power my fanless pc (12V), the Solid State Disk (5V), the PPA audio card V2 (5V) and M2tech Young Dac (15V).
The PSU is totally silent and the improvements are noticeable in all parameters: The linear PSU improved the three-dimensionality of the image, the focalization of instruments, bass control and depth, details. In a word the realism of the reproduction. I found it brought the biggest improvement per money spent of all the upgrade to my system made so far.
