Dealing with dust in PSU's?

I'm wondering if any of you have had a large build up of dust in your PSU? Every month or two I usually have to do some fan cleaning as a thin layer of dust/grime/etc build up, and temps slightly increase. Wondering what it's doing with the PSU...

Yep. Theres a lot in the way before $#it hits the fan

Plus, I dont vaccum or dust the room often. I think if you slow down the fans it will help alot.

There's always some dust builtup inside my PSUs too. Whenever I clean out my case I also take the canned air to the PSU too.

I use isopropyl alcohol on a Q-Tip to clean fan blades and heatsink. By using this method, I avoid dust flying all over the place like when using canned air. I also use a vacuum cleaner to clean out the bottom of the case and front intake area.

I should add that my PSU has a downward facing fan. When the PSU has a backward facing fan, I would do as Ralf suggested with canned air.
