Super Tornado in case with PSU compartment?

Post by Gxcad » Sat Jan 17, 2004 1:15 am

Hi,

I have a case with its own PSU compartment, which basically means there is no gap underneath the PSU once it is mounted, it sits on solid steel. This is the main reason I have leaned towards the super silencer this entire time. I was just curious if anyone had any opinions as to if a super tornado could be installed in a case where the psu didn't have an opening under it (such as make the 120mm fan of the tornado face up?). I used to have a dual fan enermax and I had the 92mm fan face up in my case and it worked, but now we're talking about much lower airflow and noise levels...

So, if you were me, super tornado or just stick with the super silencer?

Thanks,

-Ken
