Samsung SATA II now in US

Post by cmm0325 » Fri May 06, 2005 5:10 am

Thought I let you folks know they're finally making it to the US shores. However, I have no idea what the first one is:

I've been waiting for the new Samsung SATA II for a long while but these prices are expensive.

Yay!

Monarch has the operating temp listed up to 55C. Don't they die pretty quickly at a temp like that? Or did Sammy figure out something new with these drives?

I think that is fairly standard for all hard drives.

Before I moved into the fridge that I'm now in, my 160gig sammy was at around 35-37C...now its at 30C. 55C seems quite high for a hard drive, but maybe thats not such a problem with these new drives?
