How can i find out my HDD temps?

I use a Samsung Spinpoint SP1614C 160gb and also Maxtor Diamond Plus 10 6B300S0 300gb HDD

Either DTemp or SpeedFan will do this. Search the interweb.

But don't forget to check if you need to enable SMART in your BIOS first.

Is Speedfan the replacement over Motherboard monitor?
