samsung sp2004c firmware

does anyone know where to download the firmware for this harddrive? I looked around at the samsung website and i couldnt find it. I'm looking for the vm100-33.

As far as I know, you can't "flash" hard drives with firmware. You get what it comes with.

Someone feel free to correct me.

Consider yourself corrected ... partially.

Of course you can flash the firmware on hard drives ... if the company supplies a BIOS and utility that can flash it. As far as I can tell, Samsung doesn't (and never has) done so, so these drives effectively can't be flashed. However, that's not the case with all drives. Western Digital, for example, does (or did, anyway) provide downloadable firmware updates.
