How's this for vibe reduction?

I've come up with a solution for a (wood) build I'm planning:

I've used a type of insulation for heating pipes, cut that in half and put it on the sides of a notebook drive. I plan to to make four holes in wood and strap this drive on it with the foam as vibe reduction. Will it help some?
