Really? 100 US dollars? Call me cheap but I am never going to spend 100 dollars on a hard drive enclosure...

Yes, it's quite expensive compared to other solutions. That makes things even better for some of us. It might mean that it's the new king. Some of us might be interested.

I also hope that the price will go down.

I don't see how a high price is ever a good thing for the consumer. Unless you are equating price with quality, which is not always true.

I'm Just being optimistic there. It is possible that the Neo would be worse than the 2002c in terms of silencing and cooling.

The price is high for what's basically just a disk box.
They claim a noise reduction (which I do believe) and a heat reduction too. For one reason or another I don't believe this last claim.

On the site they "explain" the cooling possibilities as follows:
1. Others do use heatpipes, holes or vents. They don't.
2. Google research did not found a consistent pattern of failing drives running at relative high temperatures. So a hot drive is not a problem.

Conclusion: :lol:

well, this is a nice product that is about 70 dollars higher than it shoud be


I would even buy it if it was awesome and 49.99

thats about 100+ dollars USA currency!
