Can you tell what is best vibration absorbing material for hdd and where buy it?

Elastic suspension. If the HDD does not touch your case, it won't vibrate it.

Silicon grommets work fine as well (ex. Antec P183).

What about some type of material that is useful when all you can do is wedge something in between the drive and its mounting? Is there any kind of advanced rubberised material that can be found over the counter? Something that helps as much as possible when there are no real good options for silencing. Rubber tape experiences, anyone?
