need advice from FlexRAID users

in my search for a DIY NAS i started to think that FlexRAID is one of the best options for me as i can see it
it works on win or linux
it snap shot raid solution
its free

i want to hear the personal experience of forum members who use FlexRAID and the info of their builds

i was thinking about using the FlexRAID with WHS or even a normal WIN version (not the best option i think)

please help me gain more knowledge in hearing your experience with FlexRAID of even WHS+FlexRAID

From the looks of it, yeah. But appearances are often deceiving. The question is: are you willing to waste time and take chances? If you do this for fun then why not? But if you want something that's known to be reliable, I'd look elsewhere.
Just my opinion...
