Disk isolation (rubber screws alone enough, these ok?)

I want to mount my hdds in 5.25" bays.. I currently use silentdrives and i fear for them cooking my drives (no they weren't used on my drives outlined elsewhere (samsung drive dying)) ..

I've stumbled across these

http://store.over-clock.com/Adaptors___Connectors.html

AntiVibration Pump Mounting Kit

Anyone else seen something similar.. like the ones with the zalman heatpipe hdd cooler

http://www.quietpc.com/uk/harddrive.php

at the bottom

Is that any good.. the few reviews i've seen say its not brilliant.. it DOES isolate tho and offers a little more cooling, as when drives lose that heat transfer to the case through contact they're supposed to get a bit hot?!??

Do i buy the zalman, or a set of those screws.. probably have some active cooling on them at some point as well..

Thanks guys

Jim

Those are called "sandwich mounts".

Doesn't help you folks in the UK, but they are available at McMaster-Carr in the correct size (6-32) for hard drives.
