LOL :)

Hopefully this picture will give you an idea... The two holes in the bottom of the fan spaced apart just like the original Zalman fan. Tied up with the stretchy stuff, looping through the fan's holes, below and obove the metal bracket. The metal bracket has two additional 1.5mm holes, just opposite of the stock existing holes. Hope this all makes sense.

It only looks complicated. It is easier just to do it without thinking about it, LOL.

Jan Kivar - I do have the original file before resize (first pic in thread, not the one above). 1789 x 1668. It is about 4,763,465 bytes when zipped... Want me to email it to you?

"Send it to me" ... indeed... precious :).

Sounded so serious too.

I think that's the best looking HSF mod I've ever seen. 8) Very clean and industrial. That would really brighten up my all copper Zalman.

I'd like to say that if you call Directron.com they can actually physically go and verify if the Evercool fan has RPM monitoring or not. The 92mm Evercool Aluminum model they carry right now has a 3pin connector for the motherboard, and rpm monitoring (blue, black, red wires). Again, call to verify. If you need Directron's toll-free number, it is on their discussion forum. Just search 1-800 and you'll find it in tech support response posts.

Here's an idea: anodize the sucker gold along with an aluminum fan. Just ignore the copper.

:D BLING BLING :D

So did anyone ever get a pic of his installation technique. I can't believe I have not seen this article earlier. Its soo old yet still soo cool. Gah, I was so close to buying a panaflo and now i might have to change my mind to an evercool. Yeah, well if anyone else knows about a link to the installation of the evercool, let me know.
