Anyone got a feedback on this one ?

They say it's for opteron, but if it fits on socket 754 it should be ok... and I don't remember seeing any other HS suited for suck mode, or am I mistaken ?
It could enable to adapt bluefront's stealth duct to the athlon64 config I'm planning to buy in july

I've used one...
Hello:
I used one on an Athlon 64 2800+ (Socket 754) and it worked very well -- don't bother with the stock fan (Delta). It's not horribly noisy, but it is not quiet and sounds kinda' rough. I used an Enermax 80mm thermally controled fan and it was much better. Tempsnever peaked past 46C while running Folding@Home (at 1.5v) and I was able to under volt it to 1.35v, so temps only peaked at 42C, and were often 38C!
Mounting it was not as foolproof as I would have liked -- they did not provide a back plate -- but AOpen did. The Alpha's springs are pretty serious, and the bolts are very high quality. Nice heatsink, and very similar to the Zalman 7000 in cooling and noise level. And it takes a lot less room, so if you have some smaller clearances, this could be a good choice.

Re: Alpha PAL8150 heatsink for Athlon64 ?
Socket 940, (Opteron, AthFX) S939, (Ath64) and S754 (Ath64) all use the same mounting clip and socket shape and size. If it works on one, it'll work on the others.
Thank you for your answers.
If it cools as well as the 7000, I think I'm gonna buy this one, as you say Neil it takes less room, plus it makes it really easier to duct.
As for the fan, I'll now have to find one quiet enough and with enough airflow to cool an athlon64 3200+. Any idea about cfm needed ?
EDIT : After some research it appears this product isn't available in Europe yet (correct me if I'm wrong), so I'll wait 'n see what happens in July, between this one and the 7000...
